- Wildlife Capture Course: A key conservation and management tool, this course enhances skills in monitoring, handling, and relocating wildlife. All wildlife managers or conservationists will eventually participate in a wildlife capture.
- Veterinary Experience Program: Gain hands-on experience with small and large animals while learning how to manage a farm with sheep, horses, and cattle.
- Cheetah Conservation Project: Complements wildlife management, as students manage and care for big cats in a more enclosed environment, compared to a ranch or farm.

Combine the Wildlife Capture/ Chemical immobilization course, conveniently located just across the road on a family friend’s farm, to immerse yourself in a FULL wildlife experience. Highly recommended for comprehensive coverage of wildlife conservation, management, and veterinary care. Even for aspiring exotic veterinarians, understanding the foundations, history, management, and conservation methods for wildlife is critical. Courses run weekly, from Mondays to Fridays. Weekends are yours to explore the beauty of South Africa with our exciting weekend activities for you to choose from! We kindly ask participants to arrive on Monday and depart on Mondays.
We highly recommend combining the Wildlife capture program with the conservation and management as it all goes hand in hand and you can get the FULL experience of wildlife work! If you wish to extend your stay in our accommodation or anywhere in the country to explore South Africa further before departing for your country, we are more than happy to arrange help you arrange it. Prices:
Prices include: Accommodation, bedding,, towels, weekday meals and some weekend meals depending on weekend activities, ALL transfers on program, airport pick up and drop off, WIFI, photos, welcome pack, learning materials and more! 2025 prices are $1300 for one week.

The fee for our field experience program covers accommodation, meals, all transportation during the program, and airport transfers for your convenience. Prices start at $1200 per week. Please feel free to email us with your preferred dates or the weeks you’re considering joining, and let us know if you’re combining programs for a more accurate estimate.
